Telephone Workers' Credit Union was formed on March 3, 1917, to serve the employees of New England Telephone. There have been numerous changes in the communications and financial services industries since that time. However, our dedication and commitment to providing our members with the best products and services available remains our top priority.
Today, Telephone Workers' Credit Union has over 27,000 members and is one of the oldest and most established credit unions in New England. We serve employees of all companies that provide services and technologies for the purpose of the transmission and processing of information, voice, data, and video. In December of 2005, we had a change to our company charter that now allows us to offer our services to anyone who lives, works, or attends school in the Greater Boston area, so you no longer have to be a telephone worker to join our credit union.
We offer a full range of financial services, and with our network of automated teller machines (ATMs), MoneyLine (our 24/7 touch-tone teller service), and on-line Home Banking, members have convenient access to information about their accounts from home, work, or when travelling.
Furthermore, we can assure you that if you need information about your accounts or the services offered by the credit union, you will be given prompt and considerate attention. After all, members make the credit union a success, and we feel that you deserve the very best. Please don't hesitate to contact us with your comments and suggestions. If there's a way we can serve you better, please let us know.
Our Mission The mission of Telephone Workers' Credit Union is to constantly monitor and improve our overall performance and the quality of service we provide to our members. Our focus is to maintain a sound financial institution by offering convenient and competitive services through a highly skilled team of professionals.
